Our hotel features an award-winning rooftop bar & terrace, pop-up restaurant Eastwood Beer & Grill, a Lobby Bar including our own in-house library, our own Eastwood Coffee Store, Amsterdam's most extensive breakfast buffet, fifteen versatile meeting rooms and 557 guest rooms.

Exciting news! The hotel is undergoing a complete renovation, rebranding and repositioning of all Food & Beverage locations in the hotel in 2023 / 2024, starting with the renovation and rebranding of the SkyLounge Amsterdam in the first quarter of 2023. Who are we looking for / What will you be doing? 
Join our fantastic Team as our new Lobby Bar Supervisor. Set in the right in the bustling heart of Amsterdam, the Lobby Bar is a great place to kick start your Bar Supervisor Career with exposure to a diversity of Guests. 

 his position includes the following main tasks:

• Is responsible for managing the Lobby Bar within the framework of Hilton Brand Standards
• Manages team members of the lounge independently and in accordance with the relevant guidelines
• Works with a sales-orientated attitude and is able to set and achieve financial goals
• Anticipates guests’ needs by constantly evaluating the environment and guests’ for cues
• Delivers outstanding guest service and comes with a “guest first attitude” and ensures all Team Members work with the same philosophy
• Communicates and delegates tasks to the team to ensure the smooth running of the shift
• Assists with training by proactively reinforcing successful performance and applying coaching techniques wherever necessary
• Develops positive relationships with Team members and is able to address individual needs and concerns
• Organises opening and closing duties, including cash handling and safety and security procedures
• Carries out administrative tasks for the department including scheduling, registration of working hours, stock taking and managing wastage levels
• Complies with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislations
• Assists the Food and Beverage management team and supports other departments where necessary. 

To successfully fulfil this position we are looking for an organized, pro-active and involved Food and Beverage enthusiast who can delight our guests and motivate our team members. Therefore, we are looking for the following attitude and skills:

• Committed to delivering high levels of guest service and developing others to be part of a winning team
• Acts with integrity and honesty to support the culture, values and mission of Hilton
• Excellent communication skills required in English, Dutch speaking skills are preferred
• Minimum one year of relevant experience in a supervisor role within the hospitality industry
• Good computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel and cashiering systems
• Good knowledge of spirits, cocktails and wines
• Available both during the week and weekends for early and late shifts.
