WE'RE LOOKING FOR AN ALL-ROUND TEAM MEMBER

Stayokay Stadsdoelen is new, newer, newest! This monumental building in Amsterdam is right on the canals. After an intensive renovation, this place, with 168 beds, a bar, and a reception, has truly become a gem! Although the look is brand new, the familiar vibe remains the same: a low-key and cozy living room feel, with backpackers from all over the world. As a team member, you get to enjoy unique people and stories every single day!

Do you want to be part of this special place in the heart of Amsterdam starting December 1st? Would you like to experience the opening of a renovated hip hostel and be the first point of contact? Hello receptionist and bar king/queen of Stayokay Amsterdam Vondelpark and Stadsdoelen!

You are going to...

• welcome guests with your beaming smile, check in and out as if you've never done anything else and make sure everything runs smoothly in the front office during your shift!
• become friends with our reservation system PMS, which we use for both groups and solo adventurers.
• assist your colleagues and making sure together that everyday is a new adventure, from bar shifts to guarding the ‘zen’ during check-in rush hour. No day is the same, and you love that!
• pamper our guests in the bar. From a cold drink to a good conversation, you provide the fun!
• make sure the bar is filled and shining, and you make the best coffees in the process.
• work at our location Stadsdoelen but will also occasionally support your colleagues at Stayokay Vondelpark (you will also be trained at this location).

You have...

• an open mind and a drive and you value sustainability a good sense for multitasking. Three things at once? No problem. You stay cool even when the frenzy hits.
• as a true ‘local know it all’ the coolest insider tips ready for every curious guest.
• no hospitality experience? No stress! We'll teach you how to make that coffee!
• good knowledge of English, speaking Dutch is a plus
