Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is looking for a Food & Beverage Trainee per 2023!
 
Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is a welcoming place, where guests find uncomplicated experiences in a casual atmosphere. Our hotel has 330 rooms, 6 spacious meeting places and an inviting restaurant. We welcome guests from all over the world, whether for business, group travel or leisure. As Food & Beverage Trainee you will be supporting all outlets; the restaurant (breakfast, lunch & dinner), banqueting (meeting spaces) and our bar.
 
We are looking for an easy-going, flexible and spontaneous person, dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our guests. As Food & Beverage Trainee you are part of the F&B Team with international, driven and fun colleagues who enjoy menu tastings! You will be working together with our Food & Beverage Hosts (servers), Food & Beverage Supervisors, Team leaders and F&B Manager.
Responsibilities

• You bring your unique personality to our team of dedicated Food & Beverage Hosts;
• You will receive training in all F&B outlets (restaurant, bar, & banqueting);
• You are responsible for creating remarkable guest experiences in the Food & Beverage outlets; restaurant (breakfast, lunch and dinner), meeting area & bar;
• You assist with setting up our Meeting Places and are responsible for the service during events;
• You assist in optimizing the sales of the outlets and identifying improvement areas.

Qualifications
 

• You are enrolled in a relevant HBO/Bachelors program in the Netherlands; Hotel Management, Facility Management, or Tourism & Leisure Management;
• You are entitled to perform your internship in The Netherlands;
• You are fluent in English;
• You are flexible working different shifts and on weekends;
• You are passionate about hospitality & a real team player.

Preferred qualifications

• You have experience with Micros;
• You live in the Netherlands.
