What Will You Be Doing?
As a We are EDN Head Chef, you’ll guide team members in the heart of the action, to create our mouthwatering dishes for our guests to enjoy. Here’s what you’ll be up to:
- Master the Fun: Be the curator of the We are EDN vibe and encourage your team to follow suit by showcasing your creativity and passion for the culinary arts because Good Food = Good Mood.
- Lead the Vibe: At We are EDN, we are trend setters. Be the example for your team and help them learn.
- Wow the Guests: Create dishes that are not just good—they’re unforgettable, with a side of smiles.
- Cleanliness is Cool: Food hygiene is a top priority, because good practices also mean good business.
- Cook Up New Ideas: Guide the team to keep things fresh, fun, and satisfying for everyone. Actively assist in the execution of your ideas.
- Be Planet-Friendly: Help us keep our eco-game strong and steady, with a focus on cutting food waste.
- Team Player: Jump in wherever you’re needed and keep the good vibes rolling.
- Safety Dance: Follow all the rules to keep everyone safe and sound.
What Are We Looking For?
A We are EDN Head Chef is all about living the brand, bringing the energy, and spreading the good vibes. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Experience: Previous kitchen experience of a minimum 3 years as (Junior) sous chef is a must. A culinary education as a base, seasoned with experience and a topping of the right qualifications (NVQ Level 4 and Basic Food Hygiene) is the perfect recipe.
- Culinary Star: You are committed to creating yummy food that makes our guests happy and inspiring your team to do the same. You want to help create the next best thing to elevate the concept.
- Positive Vibes: A sunny attitude that lights up the room.
- Chatterbox: Great communication skills.
- Go-getter: You’re always ready to learn something new.
- Flexibility: You can roll with whatever comes your way.
- Team Spirit: Whether solo or squad, you get things done with a smile.
