We are looking for a talented restaurant food ingredients sourcing expert, who has in depth knowledge of procuring traditional ingredients from across the globe for Pakistani cuisine.  A self-motivated individual who is willing to participate in creating and improving seasonal menus and designing new dishes. The successful candidate will assist the restaurant manager with procurement and administrative tasks while communicating with the Chef’s team on daily basis. Someone who is dedicated to food quality and sets high standards for their output.

 

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies for purchasing area aligned with the Restaurants’ food and beverage objectives.

Deliver an unparalleled experience for guests and employees, communicate and reinforce the service vision for the restaurant to supervisors and employees.

Provide Kitchen staff with the tools and environment they need to deliver the best experience.

Support the luxury dining experience by maintaining supplies for food and beverage service.

Maintain par levels of stock; complete requisition for additional supplies as appropriate with research pricing for all purchased goods.

Insure that all goods required to run the restaurants are available when necessary.

Keep purchasing and storage areas clean and organized as per the chef’s standards.

 

Requirements

Education Level: Minimum High School Graduate with proven experience as ethnic Pakistan Cuisine restaurant or Catering business as procurement

Language Proficiency: Urdu, Punjabi and English, Dutch is a Plus

At least 3-4 years of experience in Authentic, ethnic and traditional Pakistani Cuisine
