Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is looking for an Assistant Front Office Manager!
 
As Assistant Front Office Manager you are part of the Front Office Team, leading approximately 14 Front Office Hosts and Teamleaders. You will report directly to the Front Office Manager.

Responsibilities
 
  • You will be responsible to provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service in order to create memorable guest experiences at the Front Office
  • You conduct regular departmental communications briefing and meetings
  • You are responsible for maximizing the employee productivity but still meet the guest expectations
  • You will guide hosts and teamleaders in complaint handling and take action accordingly to prevent future complaints
  • You maximize the effectiveness of employees in close cooperation with the Front Office Manager by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching, and/or mentoring and supporting them in their professional development goals.
  • You optimize the enrollment contribution to the World of Hyatt loyalty program on a daily basis and ensure targets are met
  • You optimize the upsells performance of the Front Office and identify improvement areas and take action
  • You identify process improvement to achieve financial and service goals
  • You ensure that the team has the supplies needed to operate on a daily basis, as well as ensuring that guest supplies are available at all times
  • You will assist the Front Office Manager in taking care of all Front Office administrative related tasks
 
 
Qualifications
 
  • You have great language skills in English and preferably Dutch as well
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to details
  • You are a good trainer and able to multitask
  • You have a minimum of 2 year experience as Front Office Teamleader or similar role in the hospitality industry
  • You have experience with OPERA Property Management Systems
  • You are flexible working in different shifts (morning, evening, nights and weekends)
  • You are eligible to work in the Netherlands
