What are you going to do?
As Supervisor in the Brasserie & Lounge you will support the Brasserie & Lounge Manager and his Assistant Manager. Together you will be responsible to ensure the high expectations of our guests are met, through a personalised approach, eye for detail and passion for gastronomy and service. You will lead, motivate and develop the team of the Brasserie & Lounge. As a team you will contribute to the continued success of the restaurant, through guest satisfaction, revenue management and team engagement.
 
What will your 5-star luxury working environment look like?
The Conservatorium's Brasserie & Lounge are located in the beautiful courtyard which has spectacular floor-to-ceiling windows. The menus of the Brasserie & Lounge are under the direction of Schilo van Coevorden. His style of food has continuously evolved through the years, adapting and adopting traditions from all over the world while retaining the virtues of simplicity and keeping a focus on locality and seasonality.

The Brasserie is open daily from 6:30 until midnight. Shifts can start as early as 06:00AM and finish as late as 01:00AM. Please keep this in mind when applying for this position. The team consists of hosts, waiters/waitresses, food-runners, drink-runners, baristas and stewards. Together with the operational leadership team, they aim to make every visit memorable.
  
Who are you?
Our new colleague can work independently, is motivated to teach others and has strong communication skills. We are looking for someone who shares the team’s passion for combining outstanding food and beverages with personalised service. Our Food & Beverage team strives for continuous development and wants to be the best in Amsterdam and beyond. Furthermore, you have:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as Supervisor or Head Waiter in a luxury restaurant or hotel;
• Passion for food and beverage;
• Excellent verbal and writing knowledge of the English and Dutch language;
• Willingness to work evening and weekend shifts.
