WE ARE EDN is an all-day dining experience with a real heart and a big conscience located Inside   DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station. WE ARE EDN is our own small slice of paradise, where guests of all ages can enjoy honest, feel-good food and drink in a joyful, nurturing and relaxing environment that honors nature’s bounty. Our wholesome, planet-conscious menu will combine comforting and familiar global dishes with lip-smacking local specials, all crafted from the freshest seasonal ingredients and rooted in sustainability.

What Will You Be Doing?
As an Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager at WE ARE EDN, you’ll jump into the heart of the action, to keep our restaurant and bar buzzing with good vibes, with a key focus on lunch & dinner service. Here’s what you’ll be up to:

• Master the Fun: Keep the WE ARE EDN experience running like clockwork based on our standards.
• Lead the Vibe: Build, train, and inspire a Team that’s as awesome as our guests.
• Wow the Guests: Deliver service that’s not just good—it’s unforgettable, with a side of smiles and coach the team to do the same.
• Get Smart with the Numbers: Understand and Support financial performance, because great experiences must go hand in hand with great business results.
• Cook Up New Ideas: Work with the team to keep things fresh, fun, and satisfying for everyone. Actively assist in the execution of your ideas for new Drinks / Food or Activations.
• Be Planet-Friendly: Help us keep our eco-game strong and steady.
• Team Player: Jump in wherever you’re needed and keep the good vibes rolling.
• Safety Dance: Follow all the rules to keep everyone safe and sound.
• Create your dream team:  A strong team with a sense of belonging that is stable, engaged with low turnover rates.

• Keep the Ship Steady: Control your Stock and Inventory on a monthly basis and conduct spot-checks.

• Experience: Previous food and drink experience is a must.

• Flexibility: You can roll with whatever comes your way.
• Team Spirit: Whether solo or squad, you get things done with a smile.

Extra Cool Points:

• Hotel Know-How: Previous experience in the hotel scene is a plus.
• Management Know-How: Previous Management and delegation skills are advantageous.
• Scheduling/Rota Know-How Previous experience.
• Deep understanding of fundamentally important aspects of a restaurant ( P&L / Menu Engineering / Allergy Matrix / Promotions / Forecasting )
• Previous experience in Trainings / Coaching
• Previous experience with Cost Control and End of day reports
• Growth Mindset: You’re all about leveling up and learning new tricks.
