The Housekeeping department is responsible for the cleaning and preparation of 23 hotel rooms, as well as the public areas and the garden.

As a Floor Supervisor you are part of the housekeeping team. This team ensures that all hotel rooms, public areas and the back of house are clean to our high standards.

The Floor supervisor you are jointly responsible for managing the hotel location. We are looking for the person who thinks along with you in a customer-oriented, team-oriented way and who strives for a high level of quality, preferably experience in the hotel industry.

We are looking for someone who:

Has leadership qualities
Thinking along and flexible
Has a customer-oriented attitude
Representative is
Is independent, organized and accurate
Masters the Dutch and English language
Has managerial experience as a supervisor
Cleaning experience has
Energetic, enthusiastic and motivated

 Canal House Hotel is located in two 17th century houses on the Keizersgracht canal. The hotel is just around the corner from the Anne Frank House. Central Station, Dam Square, the Royal Palace, the Stedelijk Museum, the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum, theatres, cinemas and the famous shopping streets are within walking distance. With 23 bedrooms, bar, lounge and restaurant Canal House is open since April 2011.
Contemporary and glamorous, Canal House is designed in a monochromatic scheme of black, purples, grays and coppers. There are 5 bedroom categories based on size and view, all with same generous amenities and open concept bathrooms featuring mosaic, bathtubs, double sinks and unique artwork throughout the hotel. Each room has its own identity and overlooks either the Emperors' Canal, courtyard or our Garden.
