About the role
As Pastry Chef, you are responsible for all pastry and dessert creations throughout the hotel. From refined desserts in VanOost to sweet bites at the brasserie, as well as pastry for banqueting and in-room dining — you ensure the perfect finishing touch to every culinary experience.

This role allows you to show your creativity and craftsmanship. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and outlet teams, while also contributing your own ideas for new pastry concepts and signature desserts.

What will you do?
  • Develop and prepare pastry and desserts for all outlets of the hotel
  • Create new recipes and signature desserts in consultation with the Executive Chef
  • Ensure quality, presentation and consistency of all dishes
  • Manage mise-en-place and stock control
  • Guarantee food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
  • Guide and inspire colleagues and interns within the pastry section

Who are you?
  • You have several years of experience as a pastry chef in a luxury hotel or restaurant
  • You are creative, precise and have a strong eye for detail
  • You enjoy developing new flavors and presentations
  • You can work independently but also collaborate with other chefs and teams
  • You are flexible and available to work evenings and weekends
  • You speak Dutch or English (both is a plus)
