Commis de Cuisine - Park Plaza Amsterdam Airport (0-hour contract)

We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Commis de Cuisine who is eager to learn and grow in a professional kitchen environment. This is a 0-hour contract, ideal for someone seeking flexibility and hands-on experience in hospitality. Some kitchen experience is appreciated, but not required - a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.

What you'll do:

• Assist in food preparation and production, ensuring quality, freshness, and hygiene standards.
• Support buffet and group meal preparation, as well as à la carte service when needed.
• Learn presentation techniques, safe equipment usage, and food safety procedures.
• Adapt to different areas of the kitchen and hotel outlets based on business needs.
• Help create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and colleagues, with attention to detail and personalised service.

• Genuine interest in cooking and working in a team.
• Flexible availability and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Positive attitude, motivation, and eagerness to learn.
• Effective communication skills with colleagues and guests.
• Ability to commute independently to the hotel (located outside Amsterdam city centre).
