At Delish Thai, we bring the taste of Thailand to Veenendaal with a warm, authentic takeaway concept. Our kitchen is inspired by khao rad gaeng — rice with a variety of flavorful, freshly prepared Thai dishes. We also run a small Thai minimarket, making real Thai culture accessible to everyone.

We’re looking for a passionate chef who’s ready to grow with us as we build more than just a kitchen — a team, a culture, and something to be proud of.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare Thai street food and snacks (wok, fryer, grill, rice cooker)
• Control flavor, portion size, and presentation
• Manage fresh/dry stock & daily prep
• Apply hygiene (HACCP), allergen, and safety standards
• Train kitchen assistants & contribute to new dishes

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Thai or Southeast Asian cuisine
• Proficient in wok cooking, curry paste prep, and stir-fry dishes
• Basic Dutch or English/Thai communication skills
• Strong kitchen discipline and attention to detail

What We Offer:

• €2,450–2,750 gross/month (Horeca CAO scale 5, based on experience)
• 8% holiday pay + overtime pay
• 25 paid holidays per year
• Daily staff meal
• Quarterly bonus (based on company results)
• Pension (Pensioenfonds Horeca & Catering) after 8 weeks
• Commuting allowance
• Clear SOPs to reduce stress and create structure

Contract:

• 12-month contract with 2-month probation
• Fulltime (38 hrs/week, including evenings/weekends)
• Part-time (minimum 32 hrs/week) negotiable

International Applicants:

Delish Thai welcomes EU/EEA/Swiss citizens. After 3 months of EU-wide recruitment, we may offer work-permit support for strong non-EU candidates.
