At Delish Thai, we’re on a mission to bring the flavors of Thai street food to the heart of Veenendaal and we’re looking for a Sous Chef to grow with us!

No previous Thai cooking experience? No problem. If you’re a fast learner, hands-on, and love cooking with heart, we’ll guide you through the rest.

Your Role

As our Sous Chef, you’ll:
Help prepare and pack Thai takeaway dishes
Support our head chef during peak hours
Keep the kitchen clean and HACCP-compliant
Wash, cut, portion, and prep key ingredients
Occasionally help in the minimarket (e.g. stocking, tidy-up)

Contract & Compensation

Start: 11 August 2025
Type: Zero-hour contract (flexible)
Hourly Rate: €18.80 gross/hour
Pension: Horeca & Catering Pension (PH&C)
Overtime Pay:
- Workdays: 150%
- Weekends: 200%
Meal: Free staff meal on working days
Probation: Not applicable
Bonus & Perks
- Bonuses: 2x performance-based bonuses/year
- Extra Pay: Up to 10% of company profit shared with the team
Vacation: 25 paid days/year (based on full-time)
Public Holidays: Work = alternative day off or fair pay
Travel: 100% travel cost reimbursement (no tax impact)
Events: 2+ team outings/year
