The role:
As Restaurant Manager, you are responsible for the overall success of Williams Farmhouse. You lead both the front-of-house and kitchen management teams, setting the strategic direction and ensuring financial targets are met. You oversee budgeting, marketing collaboration, staff recruitment, and company culture. Your leadership drives growth while maintaining our core values of quality and hospitality.
Your responsibilities include:
- Lead, develop, and support both management and kitchen teams
- Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, rostering, and recruitment
- Manage budgets, P&L, labor costs, and performance targets to maximize profitability
- Set and implement strategic goals and provide both operational leadership and strategic input
- Manage weekly action points, reports, and team meetings to ensure clear communication and progress
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef on menu development, changes, and marketing initiatives
- Oversee stock control, time registration, POS systems, and tip management
- Ensure ongoing staff training, coaching, and development to maintain high service standards
- Maintain compliance with legal, health, and safety regulations
- Manage external relationships with suppliers, community partners, and other stakeholders
What we’re looking for:
You are an experienced leader with a passion for hospitality and a strong overview of business operations. You have a sharp eye for numbers, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working with people. You thrive in a dynamic environment and know how to create structure without losing the welcoming atmosphere.
What you bring:
- At least 2 years of managerial experience in hospitality
- Experience with staff planning, cost control, and operational management
- A proactive attitude and the ability to make decisive decisions
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English
- Flexibility in working hours (evenings and weekends included)
- A full-time employment for 12 months, with the intention of extension of course
