You work closely with department heads, offering practical, solution-focused support on all people-related matters. You bring the HR strategy developed by the Director of HR to life and ensure it is effectively implemented across all teams. You keep HR administration running smoothly, from timely contract extensions to accurate employee records, while ensuring full compliance with legal requirements and the collective labor agreement. You actively help find and select strong talent that fits our hotel’s needs. You make sure new team members receive a warm and well-organized start. With your hands-on approach and expertise, you boost team performance and strengthen the overall employee experience. There are no limits to your abilities. In addition, you will be:
- Partner with department heads to provide HR guidance on performance, staffing, and team development.
- Oversee legal compliance in all HR processes and policies, ensuring adherence to the Hospitality CLA, Working Hours Act, Sickness Benefits Act, and all internal personnel procedures and regulations.
- Doing the selecting and hiring activities, such as creating function profiles, opening and closing positions on websites and informing candidates about their application procedure. Supporting head of departments with interviews for manager positions.
- The face of the hotel. Attending several HR meetings, school visits and internship fairs.
- Organising payroll.
- Supporting in managing employee relations matters, including sickness cases, conflicts, performance issues, behavioral concerns, and return-to-work processes.
- Maintaining contact with external organisations such as occupational health services, the Employee Insurance Agency (UWV), and educational institutions.
- Responsible for organising personal and staff events together with the HR team, such as Christmas Party, Summer Party or a work anniversary.
- Managing the daily tasks of the HR department. HR administration, including contracts, personnel files, on and offboarding.
In this position, you will work Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00.

On a lovely, sunny day, you can choose between a 10-minute walk or a 5-minute cycle ride from the central station. Or you can hop on the tram from the other side of our hotel. - Fluent written and spoken knowledge of the English and Dutch language

- A gross salary of between €3.461 and €4.400 in accordance with scale 9 of the Collective Labour Agreement for the Dutch hospitality and catering industry.
