Are you capable to visualize and implement the best fitting marketing plan for the hotel’s different departments? Then you are the perfect candidate for Marketing Manager at Hilton Rotterdam!
In our hotel this is a diverse role where each day is different: Creating social media campaigns, designing collateral for rooms and food & drinks departments, initiating marketing projects, presentations and creating new and exciting content, while there is enough room for your own initiative. Together with a trainee, you will manage all aspects of our marketing department.
 
SUMMING YOUR DAILY TASKS

• Prepare a yearly marketing calendar based on the hotel proposition and long-term goals. Implement marketing tactics to help meet the goals and objectives
• Execute promotional activities based on global strategies and plans
• Plan the marketing budget accordingly to the marketing year plan and review it monthly
• Conducting research and coordinating brainstorm meetings with our Commercial and Food & Drinks teams with creative ideas and active thinking in order to identify revenue driving opportunities
• Maintenance of all online content, including the hotel website, restaurant website and 3rd party websites, with use of Hilton’s brand marketing tools
• Creating, managing and growing the hotel’s and outlet’s social media presence
• Co-ordination and production of hotel and outlet merchandising collateral and promotional materials
• Work with local third party partners, including local media and suppliers, build and maintain professional working relationships
• Creation of general content supporting different projects, using photography and video
• Project management; setup and execute marketing projects and campaigns and ensure there is a return on investment for these projects. From conducting field research to the final result. And work together with other departments and/or Hilton hotels to reach the maximum results
• Oversee all marketing related administrative tasks to include invoice processing

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

• Completed Bachelor HBO level commercial degree: for example marketing/ communications/ hospitality
• At least 2 years work experience in relevant (marketing) field
• Fluent in English and Dutch (oral and written)
• Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom & Premier Pro skills are a plus
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Photography, planning  and excellent organizational skills
• Eye for detail and creativity
• You are able to work in a team and individually
• Performs well under pressure and can easily adapt to changing priorities
