Chief Engineer

As Chief Engineer at Park Plaza Eindhoven, you are responsible for the daily management of all maintenance activities. You coordinate and carry out routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance and repairs, both inside and outside the hotel, to ensure the hotel remains in optimal condition.

• Maximizes the maintenance department with a balanced focus on operations, guest, employee, and owner satisfaction.
• Oversees maintenance tasks and sets priorities for timely and accurate completion.
• Ensures proper use and periodic maintenance of all equipment.
• Takes responsibility for service quality, achieving/exceeding financial targets, short- and long-term planning, and daily operations.
• Projects a helpful and professional image to guests and colleagues by responding positively and thoroughly to requests.
• Maintains clear and accurate records of all repairs and maintenance on installations and equipment.
• Has a passion for hospitality.
• Preferably has an electrical engineering background.
• Speaks fluent Dutch (required).
• Has experience in hospitality (preferred).
